Later this month, on May 23rd, Moving Furniture records will release the new full-length album by Machinist, one of our musical friends. Machinist’s soundscapes and musical pieces here are still based on electric guitar as a sound source, but mark the transition from drone-based music to works that seek out modes of tone, duration, and [...] The latest Machinist record was released last month as the second release on the Betontoon roster. Entitled Viens avec Moi dans le Vide ['come with me into the void'], it is built around a reading of the poem by the same name written by Yves Klein [wiki].
