The Evening of Light label was founded in May 2009. Our goal is to release works by inspiring artists we’ve come to know in the past years, or new artists that make an impression on us. We are mainly geared towards handmade releases in small editions, where we attempt to combine different media.
We would like to stimulate musicians to cooperate with for example (professional or non-professional) storywriters, poets, graphic designers and photographers to create innovative and unique releases. We are therefore also looking for other art forms besides music. It is of course also possible to present a complete concept to us yourself.
We are currently accepting propositions and demos to consider for release. Artists who are (also) active in other media than music and who’d be interested in collaborating with musicians are also welcome to contact us. In terms of music, we are reaching beyond the styles we normally treat in our webzine, but we are still looking for musicians with a powerful vision of their own, and who are not afraid to experiment.
